The Black Bear Inn has all the charm of the classic bed & breakfast experience, complete with the detailed, personal care and hospitality provided by your local hosts Nicole and Jim Church. You will be staying in their beautiful Eagles Nest* vacation rental apartment, a private one-bedroom apartment with wrap-around ocean and mountain views, full kitchen, dining and living area, bath, its own laundry, and cupboards stocked with all the things needed for your continental breakfast each morning. This apartment and the Inn’s grounds are the ideal place to experience the serenity of Alaska after a day out on the water chasing the perfect catch. Here, you won’t have to worry about getting lost amongst a sea of guests sitting shoulder-to-shoulder at the same after-hours watering hole or wondering where you are going to go for dinner. Instead, you can head down to the Inn's summer kitchen and SPA building where you can sit at the edge of the ocean, relax, and enjoy one of our fabulously long sunsets while you cook your very own Alaskan catch for your family or friends.
