Cruise Passengers
PIER PICKUP & ESCORT
Your guide or a crew member will meet you at the cruise ship pier holding a sign with your last name. From there, enjoy a short walk to our downtown marina and outfitting area, conveniently located near the port.
CUSTOMIZABLE WITHIN YOUR PORT WINDOW
Even with a limited timeframe, cruise passengers can enjoy a highly personalized experience. Whether your goal is to reel in halibut, target salmon, or spot whales along the scenic coastline, your guide can tailor the day to your preferences. Want to combine light fishing with more wildlife viewing? Just let us know and we’ll adjust your outing accordingly.
Note: Due to time constraints, crabbing and shrimping are not available for cruise guests.
LICENSING & GEAR-UP
Once at the marina, your guide will assist with a quick fishing license form and collect the state fee. While we process that, you’ll be outfitted with waterproof boots, bib overalls, hooded jackets, hats, and gloves to keep you dry and comfortable.
BOAT RIDE TO THE FISHING GROUNDS
Enjoy a short 20 - 40 minute ride to the fishing grounds. Keep an eye out for bald eagles, seals, whales, and even bears as you cruise through Southeast Alaska’s coastal wilderness.
FISHING
Spend the next few hours fishing for salmon, rockfish, cod, flounder, or halibut. Your guide will adjust techniques and target species based on what you’d most like to catch and what’s biting.
RETURN TO PORT
Cruise back to the marina with more scenic views along the way. Once ashore, your guide will ensure you're back at the ship well before departure.

CRABBING Catch Add-On
Enhance your charter with a hands-on crabbing experience and enjoy the thrill of pulling up your own pot from Alaskan waters. Pots are set when we head out to fish, and are pulled back up the next day. Your catch can also be enjoyed at our wilderness camp, or at the Alaska Fish House for an additional fee.
